Went up on a maintenance flight yesterday over the Juneau Icefield. The Taku winds title comes from the winter winds that come out of the interior through the Taku river pass. They then blow up and over the icefield blowing the snow off of the tops of the mountains. I will be posting photos over the next couple of days from this flight. This shot is looking out towards the west at sunset at about 4500 feet.
