On day 4 we had spent the night in Monterey, got up early and drove the coast road from Monterey all the way down to L.A. Took all day but was very much worth it. If you have not done this drive, put it on the list of things to do in life. It is so beautiful down there. I was told to do it in the winter as that the summer traffic will turn it into a two day drive. I do love cloud filtered light.
