What a glacier looks like on the inside. This is a very large ice cave created when a stream runs in and under a glacier from the mountain side. It then melts away as it has contact with the air. The large ice columns that you see are what's called moulons. They are surface water on top of the glacier that finds its way down through cracks or what ever and then open the hole up in much the same way. It is about 7 degrees f here. Very little in adjusting of these photos. This is what it truly looks like inside. Its a smurf world
