There isn't a year that l can skip visiting this old friend!
As the telescopes sizes that l use keep increasing - the details and colors are getting better and better.
This take is with a 24" giant which produced an unexpected drawback - the core was blown out in the normal frames due to its massive brightness.
So l had to take very short frames - 10 to 30 seconds to reveal the core in this HDR version.
The next image is a starless version just to see all the whisps of gases in the nebula.
