NGC 2427 - seen at upper right of the frame
is a barred spiral galaxy located in the constellation Puppis.
It is located at a distance of about 35 million light years from Earth, NGC 2427 is about 50,000 light years across.

Neighboring the galaxy in this image we can see 2 nebulae - CG3 is the bigger on the Left side and the smaller CG25
The nebulae and the galaxy are 'optical' neighbors since the gas clouds are in our galaxy - hence much closer.
