This magnificent region in Sagittarius lies only about 1 degree from its famous neighbor - the Lagoon nebula (M8) therefore often overlooked.
At the Left side we can see the oyster shaped nebula - NGC 6559
To the Right we see IC 4685 with the dark dust lane crossing it.
