Jonas 1 was discovered in 1941 by Rebecca Jones.
Jones 1 also catalogued as PN G104.2-29.6 is a planetary nebula in the constellation Pegasus.
It is estimated to be at a distance of about 2,300 light years from Earth.
A small RED hydrogen cloud is visible under the nebula.
