This dark nebula has many names: VDB62, LDN 1622 "The Bogeyman"...
It is a dense dark molecular cloud in the constellation Orion the hunter.
The bright yellowish area in appx the middle of the frame is a reflection nebula called vdB 62.
In the middle of this nebula is the star HD 288313, also known as V1793 Orionis which illuminates its sorrounding gases.

The Red area at the upper side is part of the famous Barnard's loop.
