Abell 24

Abell 24 is a planetary nebula about 1,730 light-years away in the constellation of Canis Minor.
Also known as PK 217+14.1,
What we see is a burst of gas and dust created when a star dies and throws its outer layers into space.

Ha for 10 HRS - bin 2
RGB 20 min each - bin 2

The Ha was used as Luminance an also blended with the Red channel.
