IC 2220

IC 2220, also known as the Toby Jug Nebula, is a reflection nebula located 1200 light years away in the southern constellation of Carina.

This reflection nebula with a bipolar structure.
It surrounds and is illuminated by the red giant HD 65670, which is also an irregular variable known by the variable star name V341 Carinae.
The dust and gas in the Toby Jug Nebula have come from mass lost by this star while in its giant stage (David Darling)
