TARANTULA & SURROUNDING NEBULAE

The Tarantula Nebula ( NGC 2070) is an H II region in the Large Magellanic Cloud.
Because of that - it is a surprisingly hard object to process - it is embedded in a few million stars!
The challenge was to show both the nebula and the surrounding stars - especially the young blue stars forming within it.
Imaged with the BOREN-SIMON 8" F/2.8 POWERNEWT - From Tivoli farm in NAMIBIA.
HAL-HAR-G-B image.
HA & Lum for 30 min, RGB for 10 min each. Total of 90 minutes
