Ken, they have done a lot with the front yard! My sister was telling me about the bean so I went downtown to check it out in Oct 2007. It is interesting. But the whole park has changed a lot in 8 years! The garden is also wonderful. I didn't have a camera so no pictures. Glad I found your pictures here on line.

Ken, thanks for checking out some of my photos (www.pbase.com/photolandscape). I really appreciate your kind words. I also really enjoyed your pbase.com site. I hadn't been aware of the Crown Ftn. in Chicago until about a year ago. It is easily one of the most impressive and enjoyable public works in the U.S. Great concept, execution--something everyone who visits it can enjoy, especially during the summer months. I really lilke your work and will come back and check it often. Best regards, Steve Plattner

Ken, I wandered to your site from DVInfo. I was not familiar with this fountain or this artist's work - both, the architect's and yours. Great images captured by Tanaka of Plensa's work. I'd love to see a short video of all this.

Great work!!! Until few months ago I lived in the loop and enjoyed walking around millinium park. I enjoyed all of the photos especially the Crown Fountain ones. Also worked at the board of trade, so was happy to see the B/W photo of the building. I'am in the process of aquiring a DSLR camera and am really looking forward to shooting around millinium park as well as the loop and the buildings facing the river. I've been to most big cities in the states and really enjoy the architecture in Chicago.

IvanP

I've long been a fan of your work on FM. I didn't realize that you had a comprehensive gallery here. Wonderful to be able to go from one of your works to another without waiting between posts! It is an elegant collection.

Dear Kenneth

What great pictures you have of the "BEAN" in millinum Park. I was there about 2wks ago, shooting with my newly aquired Canon 30D camera. You were very kind to talk with me, make some recommendations, 2 of which I am following up on. I did attend the Grant Park Symphony on Saturday night. (they were accompanying a silent movie). THEY sounded great. And secondly, I have visited your web site to see how you have captured the imgages of Chicago. AND I am very impressed. The composition and quality of your posted pictures are fantastic. Thanks for inspiring me to work harder, and to always look around.... for that different perspective.

I have known its web by recommendation of our common friend Wilfredo Benitez. I knew him in the forum of Leica. Extraordinary work Kenneth. Above all I like a lot its black and white photos and its form to see the photography with the one that coincide fully.
Greetings from Spain.

Brilliant documentation of the Pritzker Pavilion!!! Amazing quality! Furn to look at as well as informative.
It might be useful to add a plan as it is very hard to figure out this building without actually having been there.
Best regards
