Hi Tambra, Is it possible to get a copy of a pictures you took at Temecula summer nights on July 18th?
John Vass13-Jul-2008 07:53
The Temecula Area has changed in 30 years - I lived in Murrieta then moved out to Aguanga for several years. They said it was going to grow. Wow! It did!
I like your work - Thanks for sharing!

Hello Tambra,
I enjoy your photos esp the one taken at Balboa Park. My place is just walking distance from that place and I can't duplicate your shots eventhough I bought Nikon D300. I'm still a neophyte maybe. Please give some tips.
I like your frame too. Where is the best place to get quality frame like yours?
Thanks and have a good day.

Alden

Hi Tambra,
I was wondering if you have any photos from the wild fires we've had this past week.
I was driving to work from Temecula to Oceanside on Wednesday morning and was thinking as I drove up rainbow canyon road, how I wished I had my camera to capture the
incredible skyline over Temecula Valley from the smoke and sunrise. I knew if anyone had any spectacular Temecula photos from these fires it would be you. Your photos of this
region are great.
Thanks for all of your wonderful galleries.

Hi Tambra,

Thanks for visiting my galleries and leaving a comment. As to your question, just point, shake and shoot. The settings are pretty much the same as with any camera: 4 sec, 100 or 200 ISO, infinity focusand f10 plus or minus. These are the settings for the Canon. When I used the Nikon, I used the fireworks scene mode which worked well. When you point at the firework, click the shutter just before the shell explodes and just after move the camera lens about an inch or so. View the results and try again. You'll get the hang of it pretty quick. Just vary the amount of camera movement until you get the effect you want. Hope this helps. Send me a link if you give it a try.
Regards,
Jim

Hi Tambra,
Thanks for stopping by my galleries. Yes, I am related through Jurian Westfall too. One of the best sites I've found for geneology in West Virginia is a site that is maintained by Don Norman. He is from central WV originally, but lives in Ohio now. Just do a google search for his name.
I've taken a look around your galleries and they are very good too. Must be genetics, huh...

Hey tambra_turano!

Thanks for checking out my pbase photo albums! I just started using pbase last week as a supporter. I love it, just as I love photography!

Yes Butchart Gardens are really beautiful. I've lived in Victoria for four years and this is the first time I've been there! Really is beautiful.

You're a D70 user like my boyfriend is. I own the Sony Cybershot DSC-H1 which is quit a good little camera. A big step up from a little point and shoot I tell you. I jsut recently got the canon 250D close up lens for it. So far it's pretty good! I'm heading out today to take some macros and i'll be posting them sometime soon so check em out!

I love your photo gallery! I especially love the hot air ballon gallery, it's soo colorful! How long have you been taking photos for? and how long have you had the D70?
