Barnard 72 (B 72) or Snake Nebula.

Cootamundra, NSW.

This dark, S-shaped nebula is a dark cloud outlined against the background Milky Way in the constellation of Ophiuchus. This object is around 20 arc minutes across and is faintly visible in a rich-field telescope at a dark sky location.

Takahashi TSA-120 fitted with a Takahashi 35 Flattener.
