NGC 6281

Cootamundra, NSW.

The Open Cluster, NGC 6281 in Scorpius, this cluster is some 60 arc seconds wide and glows at magnitude 5.4, the whole area is covered in a faint nebulousity on a crowded background of faint stars.

Takahashi TSA-120 fitted with a Reducer/Flattener and operating at a focal length of 675mm or f/5.63.
