3rd day - Free day - Strawberries, etc...

This was a free day, and the Gota's took us to pick fresh strawberries. Met up mom and dad. Kevin went fishing with is host.

Those were the brightest, redest (is that a word) and sweetest strawberries I had ever eaten.

We also went to a water desalinization/bottling plant. They have a pipeline that goes deep into the ocean to pull up cold salt water. They then desalinize it and bottle to sell. Also went to the beach to see the Mado-iwa. A natural stone rock formation that has a hole in the middle, created by the winds and the waves. Also did a quick walking tour of Wajima city, although it was closed because it was Sunday

Also went off to eat Tonkatsu at one of Gota-san's relatives restaurant. And went to their brand new Noto Airport to see off a plane and meet up with Mrs. Gota.

Then off to the local closing ceremony.
