Marie and Hogan .

This is fast becoming the Oscar appreciation society,since Holly,upped sticks and left,one month ago today.She'd been away for a week,once before,but never for this length of time.I'm beginning to doubt if we'll see her again.New arrivals Jess and Marie,early September 2007.Summer 2008,both Jess and Marie had kittens.One,a small tabby(Merlin),wasn't sold,as he was poorly.May 2009,Merlin has vanished.He'd been sampling the delights of the great outdoors,then one day last week,he did not return.Ann,my wife,is convinced that OSCAR,our 6 year old male,has chased him away.Marie now spayed.Jess, run down and killed Oct.2014.Two kittens, as replacement.Harry and Hogan - awful names.Oscar developing a vicious reputation,locally.To us he's demur, even soppy.To lots of locals,he's vicious, brutal and downright mean to all male cats.14/1/16.Oscar won't come into the house anymore.He currently sleeps in another house two streets away.Harry was run down and killed 10/2/2016.

i miss my animals!!!! oscar being in charge and strutting his stuff!!!! jess being the best mum ever and MY MARIE who i miss dearly then..... lady always up for a run "MEG!" max who chews anything reggie baby of the 3 bt knows who's boss...... himself!!!!!

I love Oscar's view of the world. He is obviously in charge and therefore leads a stress-free life, even with all the youngsters around him. Was Holly neutered? Sometimes females will go off if they go into a heat cycle---looking for love in all the wrong places. I really enjoyed the close-ups. Well done. Voted.

This is a lovely gallery, full of grace, fur, eloquent eyes, languid poses and great interaction between felines and people. As a cat person here in St. Louis, MO, I can truly appreciate all these lovelies, and the urge to surround onself with cats. I have at the moment two adults and four kittens, two of which we are keeping and two which we hope to place in good homes. I've spent the summer watching these babies--born on July 1st--grow, and they are now the most enchanting and delightful companions. There is nothing like pusses in the house, as you have so eloquently shown us here! Bravo!
