This is fast becoming the Oscar appreciation society,since Holly,upped sticks and left,one month ago today.She'd been away for a week,once before,but never for this length of time.I'm beginning to doubt if we'll see her again.New arrivals Jess and Marie,early September 2007.Summer 2008,both Jess and Marie had kittens.One,a small tabby(Merlin),wasn't sold,as he was poorly.May 2009,Merlin has vanished.He'd been sampling the delights of the great outdoors,then one day last week,he did not return.Ann,my wife,is convinced that OSCAR,our 6 year old male,has chased him away.Marie now spayed.Jess, run down and killed Oct.2014.Two kittens, as replacement.Harry and Hogan - awful names.Oscar developing a vicious reputation,locally.To us he's demur, even soppy.To lots of locals,he's vicious, brutal and downright mean to all male cats.14/1/16.Oscar won't come into the house anymore.He currently sleeps in another house two streets away.Harry was run down and killed 10/2/2016.
