I visited this place not long ago,and crossed the river on a rickety metal bridge.Imagine my surprise then to find a new-ish strong wooden bridge in it's place, giving access to St. Thomas' church and the excellent hill top castle remains, at Cefn llys 1 and 2.see http://www.castlewales.com/cefnllys.html
