I took this on our first day, when I met a charming German lady. She was on a day trip from Cheltenham and had dropped off at Torquay, when all others had carried on to Paignton and Brixham. We walked together for several miles ,reminiscing about childhood memories of Torquay in it's heyday. Her home was now Regensburg , in Germany. It's fair to say she likes Regensburg. In her view,Torquay had gone down hill since she used to come there as a child. She was now in her 70's.She saw delapidation everywhere."It's not what it once was,but so is Cheltenham."she commented. She spoke very highly of Regensburg, how clean it is.We parted on the seafront at Torquay.
