This is the easy(!!!???) way to get up a fell.In fairness,the pair were very nice.They stopped and chatted for about a minute,before resuming their daily fell run.No two ways about it,they were fit.I wonder what they thought of me?They lived nearby.I'd driven 60 miles and climbed 1,000ft. carrying cameras and a Tesco bag of clothes,when they passed me,just below the Skelgill Bank shoulder.
