An aerial view.I came to see this castle which was probably started by the Welsh Princes,but all that remains now is due to the more heavy handed approach of English castle builders.Sadly,on the day of my visit,Wednesday 8th June 2011,the traffic was awful and try as I might I couldn't get parked.I got as close as just past the last junction on the left,approaching the castle,where one lady driver in a red car was putting roots down in the middle of the road and simply would not move.After waiting for what seemed like an eternity,I withdrew,promising myself another attempt,later in the year.
