This tower is the clan home of the Irvines.I was given a guided tour of it many,many years ago.A relative of mine,whom my dad knew very well,arranged for the Lady of the House to give us a tour.Fascinating stuff;currently inaccessible rooms under the stairs,escape tunnel from the dungeon,smoke traced to the gorge 200 yards away,lovers committing suicide from the battlements.All the usual stuff.
