An unexpected find on the summit of the motte;stonework.Closer inspection revealed the wholly overgrown base of a large,square,tower,or keep.All facing stone has been robbed away,leaving just rubble cores.However,care had to be taken in negotiating the top of the motte,as a large,30ft hole exists,with just broken down barbed wire to warn you of impending danger.
