Ian freeing a seabass from a poke net.He told us that not so long ago,they would have thrown the sea bass back,as there was no market for it,but,as the salmon have dwindled in number,so the sea bass is now sought after.A mullet was caught in the outer poke nets,but with no local market for mullet,it would have been thrown back.But,on the day,it was given to me.Most of it is still in my freezer.11/08/10.NB:In Romford Market last Saturday,really small,whole,mullet was selling at £3.30/kg.
