Boracay, Philippines (September 2012)

In 2012, Boracay was awarded as the best island in the world from the international travel magazine, Travel + Leisure. It is, indeed, a beautiful island with its famous White Beach and pristine blue waters. During the tourist season, it also has a reputation for its nightlife and perpetual party atmosphere. It is like spring break on steroids with crowded bars, pizza joints and tattoo parlors. If you want peace and quiet, don’t go to Boracay during the tourist season (off-season would be better). Instead, go to a less popular island. If you want to party until dawn in a tropical paradise, then Boracay is the place to go!
