Awesome photograph. Even though the scene is relatively modern - the black and white seems to place the time somewhere in the 1930s to the 1950s), there's an almost medieval quality, too. It's as if we're staring at a massive drawbridge which will defend the castle beyond against all and any barbarians, from Norsemen, to New Jerseyites. (Admission: I happen to have enjoyed all my visits to New Jersey.)
