You are welcome, Carol. I may have pointed this view out to you, but I came to it in the first place with your style in mind. I have always admired the clean, crisp, geometric patterns in your work. So much so, that my own images are strongly influenced by it. If you check out my own interpretation of this scene athttp://www.pbase.com/pnd1/image/75090601 My images uses a wider lens than yours. You made your image eight minutes after I did, so the colors in this image are richer than the colors in mine, but the clouds that flow over this scene in mine are no longer in yours. You found a vantage point that creates a tighter bond between foreground shadow and background light -- there is a touch more tension in your image, but less horizontal movement across the frame. The two photographs manage to tell different stories, yet essentially cover the same ground. Expressive photography is an amazingly flexible form of communication, and between the two of us, we prove that out here.
