We traveled this road in separate cars at separate times. We each found spectacular cloudscapes -- nature painting the sky in shape and colors unique to an environment such as Death Valley. This is amazingly rich color with great turbulence. The colors were less intense but more varied when I passed this way twenty two minutes earlier
