I have only seen the 1930's version so far - but I'm not THAT old!
I once saw the QE2 come 'out of nowhere' at Portsmouth and that was too impressive.

Amazing sense of scale and composition.

Fantastic image!!!! You really captured the scale here, love dark pier with the little people against the huge misty ship and huge Golden Gate pilings. Ditto, how did I miss this???

Wow how could I miss this post back in February ! I love the sense of scale. A massive majestic ship. Excellent shot, Carol !

Talk about scale incongruity! Offer this image to Cunard, Carol. It would make a wonderful ad. It virtually screams
"importance!"

A monster! Lacks the elegance of the 1930s version, but a beauty nontheless.

Dynamite shot! This really shows the scale of this ship. She must be huge!!!
I can picture exactly where you are standing as we've walked the beach there, taking pictures. I love how she really dwarfs everyting around---except, of course, the GG. Very cool shot!
(And I can't believe THIS many people trashed the Super Bowl. There ARE sme sane ones left...)
