countryside, the strong presence of Mayan history, and of course the people themselves,
so warm and proud of their heritage, and hard-working traditional lifestyle.

very nice gallery. you make good use of the crop. however, one suggestion i have is to be more ginger with sharpening and bumping saturation. i just returned from guatemala as well http://www.pbase.com/popeye885/guatemala please feel free to leave any suggestion.

I lived in Guatemala for 2 years and I have rarely seen pictures that capture the beauty of the people and the landscape quite the way you have. Great Photos, thanks for the walk down memory lane!!!!!

Loved the way you captured the essence of these places. I've been to the same towns on two different trips to Guatemala but my gallery is not nearly as colorful. Carole Scurlock
