Cordoba and Rute, along the road to Malaga

Everyone knows about Cordoba, the exquisite Mezquite and Juderia. We got caught in some bad rain there so I don't have many photos that are worth sharing. Our next stop was Rute, a little town mentioned in Don Quixote, noted for its hams and also for its anise. In fact, the aroma of anise fills the whole town! There is also a donkey refuge there to shelter abandoned and mistreated burros. Not to mention exquisite scenery.
