The town where Michael's father was born is on the other side of the river, so there's a ferry boat to take cars, trucks, and people across. We visited the cemetery there to try to find some family connections. The family who takes care of the cemetery had a beautiful vegetable and flower garden. Afterwards we went to eat in town and found a great cafeteria-style place. All the food on our tray (5 stuffed cabbage rolls, polenta, sour cabbage, a sausage, 2 meat patties, and a beer came to 16 lei, or about $5). The desserts looked extravagantly yummy but we refrained!
