Peralta Trail Elementary School Science Night 19-Jan-2017

At the request of Ms. Natalie Clement, Principal, Peralta Trail Elementary School, members of the Superstition Mountain Astronomical League attended her annual Science Night at Peralta Trail Elementary School on the evening of 1/19/2009. Although the weather was not conducive to outdoor telescopic observing, we had prepared a number of indoor exhibits and demonstrations. Members attending were Joe Gerencher, Kathleen Audette, John Talley, Grant Klassen, Bill & Kathy Shaheen, Gene Miller, Chris & Dan Martin, Keith Krueger.

Natalie also gave us a tour of her MakerSpace, a classroom devoted to extracurricular hands-on learning.
