Lost Dutchman State Park Star Party 30-Nov-2019

In spite of the cool temps (~46°F) We had a well attended event at Lost Dutchman State Park. We actually had a pretty clear evening and cloud cover didn't roll in until we started to tear down our equipment at ~9pm.

The visiting public of ~236 consisted mostly of young adults and had a lot of great questions, some of which we blame on Art Fesler-Butts since he encouraged them to ask a lot of questions. (Good idea, Art!)

Art's comments: "There were two more scopes, guests you call them, and they came after ll others had set up and left by around 8:15PM. Two were from Cave Creek but I did not get the information on the other two. Everyone that I talked to said that they really enjoyed the viewing and really appreciated having their questions answered. I noticed a number of you getting onto your laptops or cell phones to pull up answers and al of the visitors thought that these actions were extra nice. To be upfront with you, I thanked everybody who came in and told them to ask lots of questions. I think it was very nice that both Carol and Jerry met with Mark and Mark Jr. from Cave Creek and discussed his telescope and for giving them information on some club up in the Scottsdale area. We had visitors from Glendale too."
