November 6-11, 2012 and Image Quest toured: Las Vegas with its neon and election night emotions, autumn color and bighorn sheep
in Zion National Park, fantastic geology at Bryce Canyon National Park, Kodachrome State Park and Red Rock Canyon,
the Grafton ghost town and cemetery, Moapa Indian Reservation, and Valley of Fire State Park.
The astounding array of locations gave us opportunities to feast our photographic eyes and stretch our skills on subjects
from sand grains to the stars of the Milky Way. Weather conditions included warm sunshine, clouds, rain, some snow, and wind. Elevations ranged from 2,000 feet in Las Vegas, to 8,200 feet in Bryce Canyon National Park. We photographed
some of the most spectacular scenery in the American West from before dawn to past sunset and included a night sky session.
We got to meet people in towns like Springdale, UT, La Verkin UT, Saint George, UT and Overton, NV;
while some of our group also met Elvis in Las Vegas. This gallery includes a sampling of images from our magnificent adventure.
