I started to crop out the green plants growing from the stone wall,
but then decided it kinda fits his photo-nality.

Good idea. He probably already shot a bug on those green plants anyway, (in keeping with his photonality --good word! ) soon to load onto his gallery. Fun shot! He looks a bit unsure of your camera though! Fun shot!!
