A

There are several methods to create a black and white image.
This images in this gallery were created from the original color jpeg by using various post-processing techniques in Photoshop.
Some are definitely better than others. Some have very subtle differences.
The methods are labeled on my hard drive, but removed from this gallery to see if viewers can guess which goes with which image :-)

I "mess" with b&w in PS, too. I probably like this version the best, next to the color shot. I like bright, contrasty shots in b&w.

Interesting how the water droplets show more in monochrome. It looks wetter than the color version. Both are beautiful though.
