From the moment you get on the Ferry which is an experience in its self, truly beautiful, you were taken away from all the busy street and bright lights and dropped off at such an enchanted tropical little town. Then Ixchel Hotel really was so accommodating. We were on the beach drinking and laughing until 2-3 am, with beers we bought, and they had 2 security guards out there just making sure we were good. The people on the island are charming and the hotels location was superb. Pricing for everything was very affordable and the activities on the Island were perfect. The group was so pleased and everyone wanted to stay longer.
