The Case of the Missing Gourmet Dog Cookies

For a Christmas gift, Ranger our Coton de Tulear friend gave each of our 4 dogs a cookie
from Daisy & Oscar's Gourmet Dog Bakery in Traverse City.
My intent was to first take a photo of them and paste them on Facebook.
I unwrapped them and placed them on a plate, which I left on the counter out of the dogs' reach
while I went to get my camera.
Hubby was tidying up the kitchen.
I returned to the kitchen to find only one cookie on the plate.
I looked everywhere, then stared at hubby in astonishment.
I asked him if the cookies were good.
He replied "They were VERY good!"
Now I wonder if I should just eat the last one myself.....
