One of those nearly-unknown places, Glen Avon is a wild, rocky river area
that parallels the North Shore of Lake Superior, inland from Beaver Bay. Here,
you'll find a long series of cascades, and a fairly easy walk for exploring the river.

Warning, though -- don't drive down there after a good rain. Deep mud will capture your vehicle.
