I'd flirted with photography for years. Various little plastic 35mm compacts for birthdays, nothing heavy. Then I was given a little digital, that opened up a whole world for me. I didn't know what the hell I was doing, but I loved it. I was going through some of the output from it, and thought I'd make a gallery. This was when I thought post-processing was something that was done in the mailroom, that exposure compensation meant wearing a sweater. That said, in some ways, I prefer this stuff. I wasn't thinking so much, and in some cases, that's given way better results.
I know what you mean about first experiments with a digital camera - when I got my first one I really had fun and pushed it to it´s limits: now it has collapsed and my much better model somehow makes it a bit too easy - not as much fun - though the end products are often better quality. Well done with this gallery - great results from only 2 megapixels!
