After the Nor'easter Nemo moved through our area Friday, the sun has been bright and the skies blue.
Almost blinding without sunglasses.

sunning B&W tones big vote

The B&W is startlingly atmospheric, I think the image is amazing.
Janice Dunn13-Feb-2013 02:00
100% different from my beach summer scene. I like it best in BW too
Barbara Heide12-Feb-2013 23:23
love the b&w version very much!
John Lamb12-Feb-2013 20:22
The monochrome version certainly has the right ambience. Good tones & perspective.
Timothy Guenther12-Feb-2013 02:22
In terms of "atmosphere" the monochrome is the pick.
Jola Dziubinska11-Feb-2013 23:47
Very pretty weather photos, I prefer the b&w one as it shows better the atmosphere of the place and moment. V.
Walter Otto Koenig11-Feb-2013 23:32
Strong atmosphere in the b&w image. Nice perspective and tones.
Karen Stuebing11-Feb-2013 22:42
Both are very nice but for atmosphere I like the black and white one. It has a stormy winter feel without seeing the blue sky. V.
bill friedlander11-Feb-2013 18:21
I like the color one better. I think its a better composition i.e. I am not going to walk straight into the stones. V

bw for me too.. you caught the mood..

B/W version is my favorite. V
Barb 11-Feb-2013 12:38
I like the more cheery atmosphere since death is not the end and the blue sky reminds me of our ultimate destination.
Stephanie11-Feb-2013 11:36
Your B&W image is excellent Sue Anne! Certainly fits the theme! VV

b/w definitely suits the mood. A fine shot for atmosphere
Margot W11-Feb-2013 03:23
Both have lots of mood and atmosphere. I like the B/W for the mood best.
carol j. phipps11-Feb-2013 03:13
Love this scene in black and white! Beautiful!
Carol Rollins11-Feb-2013 02:57
It is much more dramatic and moody in the B&W. Love it.
LynnH11-Feb-2013 00:26
I like both scenes. It looks cold and lonely in the cemetary today. Good for atmosphere. V
