Yesterday thru ebay, received a like-new A80.
For my son when his birthday comes in June.

My first A80 is a wonderful A series with the swivel LCD and manual modes like Av, Tv, manual mode, ect... Three years later, it got the dreaded CCD lens failure. Canon fixed it but then it got misalienged lens (blurry corners)and Canon replaced it with a refurbished A590IS.

Needless to say, my son didn't really take to the A590IS and instead of buying a new A80 for $300, I was lucky to bid on one for $81 and it looks almost like-new, excellent condition with a powershot Canon case to go with it, I am happy to be reunited with this jewel.

I put it thru some testing but when the sun comes out tomorrow, I'll shoot some real tests.
So far, so good....
