~10:50PM: My dog was barking, thinking it was the cats bothering her, I looked out the window. To my disbelief it was the barn across the street.
There was one horse, cats and machinery in the barn. Luckily the house next to the barn was okay with the fire trucks getting there in time.
* Fire started near the horse, at the straw side of the barn, comfirmed by the fire marshalls. Due to the investigation the next day(maybe due to the recently installed florescent lightbulb that was left on continuously at nights)

"BREAKING: Barn Destroyed By Fire

A 200-year-old barn burned down late Tuesday in Plumstead, destroying contents that included a minivan, a horse trailer and a boat, officials said.

The cause of the blaze at XXXXXXXX Road, by XXXXXX Road, was being investigated Wednesday, but was not believed to be suspicious, said Plumstead Fire Marshal Scott Fleischer.

The barn was in flames when the first fire crews began arriving after being called about 11:30 p.m., Fleischer said.

Fire companies had to truck in water to battle the blaze, but it did not spread.

The owner, whose name was not available, was away on business when flames broke, Fleischer said.

A neighbor reported the fire. "
