Sue has painted birds and flowers in watercolours professionally for many years. Feeling a need to break out by adding more drama
and passion to her work she moved into portraits of single blooms, teaching herself specific oil painting techniques to achieved the
effects she desired.
Many fine washes of translucent colour gives Sue’s paintings depth and richness, reminiscent of the Academicians and Old Masters.

Sue has enjoyed successful exhibitions in Whangarei and now resides in Christchurch,New Zealand.
