 We started up the Crawford Path, enjoying both the bird life... |
 and the snow draped trees of the Gibbs Brook Scenic area. |
 Jadwiga led the way through a white world of snow covered trees. |
 We were treated to the first of many striking views of the Presidentials near the cut-off for Mt. Pierce. |
 The buildings and communication towers on Mt. Washington were clearly visible, with Mt. Monroe and Mt. Franklin on the right. |
