My first visit to this fantastic landscape - one of my two favorites - was in Dec-Jan 1998 in the company of Galen Rowell, famous mountaineer and adventure photographer ( www.mountainlight.com), and the second with friends in January 2014 on the way back from Antarctica. The first with fantastic light, color, weather in the film era, early in my photographic development; the second with all the latest digital equipment I could afford and carry at my improved age. The film Vs digital divide is particularly noticeable so I separated the galleries.
