Experience Music Project (ENP) designed by Frank O. Gehry and financed by Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen to honor the Pacific Northwest rock and roll legacy. The vibrant colors and free forms were inspired by the music of Seattle rock legend Jimi Hendrix. The exterior skin is made up of stainless steel and painted aluminum shingles. The EMP contains rock and roll memorabilia and interactive displays that allow visitors to create music and experience the studio environment.
