Bhuvana Vijayam drama was played at Silicon Valley Temple on May 17th. Sri Krishna Devaraya ruled Vijaya Nagara Kingdom in 16th Century. He consolidated his kingdom and fought bravely against the invasions of the muslim rulers who wanted to annexe his kingdom known for its ritches. It is said that Gold, Jewelery, Diamonds used to be sold in the streets of Vijaya Nagaram. His reign is remembered as the golden period for Telugu Literature. His cortyard consisted of great poets of Telugu Literature. Collectively they are known as Astha Diggajas. Bhuvana Vijayam is the depiction of Astha Diggajas and how it used to be in the courtyard of Sri Krishna Devaraya during leisure time when other offical business and wars were not affecting it.
